Guillotine Pictures co-produced the short indie film “Wheels” with director Tracy Martin & Medallion Pictures.
“Wheels tells the powerful emotional journey of a recently paralyzed woman, played heroically by actor
La La Cochran. When she learns that her car has been towed, she heads out on a mission to reclaim her
car & her sense of worth.”
The project started as a film created for The Woman’s Angle (a non profit that supports women directors and helps
them get their start). The film was also entered in competition at the Atlanta Film Festival 2009 and was very well
received. For this production, Guillotine Pictures contributed services of editing, titling, conforming in High
Definition, & color correction for the 12 minute film that was shot on the RED camera. “Working with the RED
was really easy in Final Cut Pro & it can look fantastic no matter what resolution you choose for your finish,” says Guillotine President and Senior Editor Michael Koepenick.
